Trouvaille provides a unique, small-group outdoor experience where hunters share the love of nature, a variety of species to hunt, and the genuine camaraderie of only their group. At Trouvaille, our hunters take time to relax in a gorgeous countryside setting, prime for disconnecting from daily distractions.

The Trouvaille Team is knowledgeable, flexible, dependable and hospitable. Our guests will be led in the field by Jarod Peterson & Brandon Consalus of Wild Plains Outfitters, expert professional hunting and fishing guides.

Trouvaille provides hunting and outdoor experiences to small and medium-sized groups. The Lodge comfortably sleeps groups of four to ten guests for guided duck, pheasant, quail, turkey & deer hunts in the heart of the Midwest.

Guests are welcome to work their own dogs or relax and let ours run the field for you. Alongside our guests & guides, the dogs we work at the Lodge are the gems of our operation. Our canine crew works hard and has a blast doing it!

Destiny
Destiny, the Lodge Owner/Operator, has her dad to thank for introducing her to upland bird hunting as a kid. She quickly became attached to bird dogs, and over the last 22-years has spent most of her spare time making runs to Kansas from Texas with her pack of pointers.

Brandon
Prior to joining us at Trouvaille, Brandon guided for three years at Wilderness Place Lodge in Anchorage, Alaska. There he specialized in providing guests with the opportunity to catch Rainbow trout, Arctic grayling, Chinook, Pink, Sockeye, Silver, and Chum salmon.

Jarod
For four years, Jarod has been a guide in multiple locations across the US. His journey began at Wilderness Place Lodge in Alaska. He began as a greenhorn, but quickly moved into the position of head guide of fishing operations, specializing in trout and salmon during the summer months.
